JDCHost offers an easy way to install scripts like WordPress using Softaculous!

Login to your Panel

*Your username and password was sent to your email when you ordered the package.

Look for Softaculous Auto Installer

Search for WordPress and click it

Click Install

Configure your installation. Remove the contents of "In directory" if you want to install it in your website's root directory.

Ensure your admin password is "Strong"! I strongly advice to use other Admin Username - NOT admin or administrator or root

Check "Limit Login Attempts" - to prevent brute force attack on your website!

Check WordPress Essentials - we have selected important/necessary plugins to be pre-installed in your WordPress site - for security and improved performance

Another important STEP, is to click "Advanced Options" and select Auto upgrade options. WordPress is quite prone to attack, if you don't have time upgrading it manually, then check these options.

Note: Automated backups here in softaculous is not recommended if you have limited space. If you really wish to have automated backup, choose a backup rotation of 1 or 2 to minimize space consumption.

What we really recommend is use the panels backup feature to backup your whole website and download it in your local computer for safety at least 1/week.
